A hidden river of Rumin in Dalmatian Zagora

June 26, 2012

At the edge of the Rumin village in the canyon crater in Dalmatia (Croatia) there is a spring of the small river hidden, also called Rumin. The village is located in the south of the Donji Bitelić and south-west of the Peruća Lake. Rumin river is one of the largest tributaries of the Cetina river.

In the summer time low level of the water allows you to walk through the river, but still the water is very cold. The spring is not so far and the water is good for drinking, or better to say excellent for drinking and great refreshment in these hot summer days.
